Do you have a pair of headphones that have a microphone, bass boost, or some other feature that typical headphones don't have?iphone 6s plus replacement screen This video demonstrates how to replace the plug on headphones with these features. I used Iphone earbuds that I got with my Iphone for this video demo.
The plug you will need to purchase is a TRRS. Can I please get some help with this?
I tried this to fix my Klipsch S4i and I got the sound, mic, volume adjustment and the answer/pause botton all to work perfectly.
However the red green white twisted cable should be seperated and only the white attached to the big bottom plate.
The red and green cables that were twisted around the white should connect together with the copper to the ground on the connector sticking out to the side.
I learned this by cutting apart and disecting the old plug and by connecting this way everything workes.iphone 6s plus replacement screen It worked, but the bass, treble and stereo separation were all off a bit. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for posting this!!! I was wondering where to place them so that the volume adjustment would work. Rich
Would this method work with beats by dre? i have two pairs of Tours, one with mic and the other without
This is great! I have been trying to find a supplier for this 4 conductor plug!
You welcome! Thanks for watching.
I really appreciate you posting these videos (especially this one)! I love to be able to fix things and learn what different parts of things do. This particular video is indispensable to me because I couldn simply replace mine:
I have wired, behind the neck, stereo headphones with mic that I love for my phone, but had shorted right at the connector point. I have looked online and at every place that sells these types of things that I happen across and can only find the ear buds (they are too unstable) type.iphone 6s plus replacement screen The bluetooth version is just not as reliable and not as stable for use when active!
